Lauren was born in San Francisco, California, but spent the majority of her life growing up in Denver, Colorado. She was a competitive dancer and studied musical theatre in high school at the Valor Conservatory of the Arts, where she graduated in 2020. She took a year off of school working as a choreographer for the high school, and in the food service industry, before attending Shenandoah Conservatory for her BFA in Musical Theatre!

Lauren is currently based in Winchester Virginia while completing her degree.  She is incredibly grateful to her professors at Shenandoah for their vast contribution to her education and career, and to her friends and family for their continuous love and support. â€‹.

Other than performing, Lauren has a passion for teaching and choreographing for youth musical theatre performers. She has choreographed over 12 productions for all different ages and levels of dancers. and done personal dance and acting coaching for high schoolers in Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, and New York.

While not at work, Lauren can be found planning her next dream vacation (as an avid travel lover), going on a run, brunching with friends, or binge watching reality television.

Growing Up, Why Musical Theatre?
Lauren is so grateful to have tried close to everything regarding athletic activities (volleyball, basketball, soccer, swimming, tennis), the most prominent being competitive skiing for around 6 years! But nothing gave her the same kind of joy that the performing arts could.
Her favorite activity as a child was putting on performances for those she loved. Whether it be telling an elaborate story at school, or a fully costumed production in the basement for Mom and Dad, Lauren liked to share stories in a theatrical way. Similarly, she wanted to listen to stories that were elaborate, magical, and creative. She loved the way that a theatrical story with a good message could change perspectives, alter lives, inspire; And she wanted to be a part of the storytelling.
